This mandate was inherited from the Special Emergency Response Team of the RCMP, who maintained this responsibility from 1986 until 1993, at which time the federal government transferred the role to the CF. Mission JTF 2 is responsible for providing to Canada a force capable of rendering armed assistance in the resolution of an issue or a potential issue that affects national security. While JTF 2s primary role is counter-terrorism, its personnel can be employed in any type of military operations, which include, but are not limited to, surveillance, security advice and close personal protection.

How many dead Canadian soldiers does it take to make Canadians flee from a war? 144. Candians have lost 144 worthless soldiers and they are going to cut and run in Afghanistan. Think about that the next time a Canadian claims his military to be equal to that of the Home of the Brave, the United States of America.

somthing like the first month of training they only alow you to get 2-3 hours of sleep max per night, hard training, but in the end, thats what keeps you alive no?
@eltrugel i hope so. i’ve tried my best to prepare myself for the physical training and i know it wont be enough. extreme cotour is no military training base, but at least they let me listen to eye of the tiger while i work out.
@Godzilla52 u have to have military experience. if ur in the Regular force u need 2 years of experience and in the reserves u need 3 years.

Realistically, your military is irrelevant and your handful of soldiers are incompete. False war or not, your participation is a waste of time because your military is weak and ineffective. Americans are used to thinking of Canadians as backstabbers and cowards so your behavior in this instance surprises no one in the States.
@loog123456 lol. Thats why no americans have heard of em. I talked to a guy and said no one knew what Joint Task Force 2 was and that rangers were the best special force, which it sint. It is one of the worlds best elite of the army, but it isnt even a special force x)

Answer:
Three (which is about as many that are currently deployed in Afghanistan). One to spot the Taliban soldier in the distance. One to proclaim “Yeah! Canada! Eh! Our ‘training’ is the best in the world! Eh! Hockey!” And one to call the Americans to come in and do the job, as usual.

@Godzilla52 after 2 years in regular forces 3 in reserves you can apply, if your track record supports you need to join( you prove that you exed well above the standard), they will bring you to there training facility just outside ottawa, were they put you in an intense 5 months training course proving to both yourself and them you have what it takes, just to let you know
theres only about 250 jtf2 members in canada, when thousand apply each year
@eltrugel because i can come up with example of ameican military cowardis, its on youtube lol, when there like 10 military guys and only 2-3 taliban, and when the taliban start preying, the americans run for the hills and get a tank to come after them…..now thats gay, and cowardis
